About Me

NYC Grades 1-6 Elementary Educator

My name is Miranda Lakis, and I am currently a childhood and special educator seeking employment in the NYC public school system. I have obtained my M.A. from New York University in Childhood Education and my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester.

I have been lucky enough to gain teaching experience in both in-person and remote during these unusual times. I look forward to what my next chapter in the classroom (virtual or not) will bring me!
