Contains 5 sequenced lesson plans that let students explore and compare two retellings of the classic Cinderella story: Cendrillon: A Caribbean Cinderella and Yen-Shen, which takes place in China.

Students will research Caribbean and Chinese cultures and compare how the unique aspects of these cultures are seen within their version of Cinderella.
